ARTICLE 41Multilateral obligations and general background1. The Parties reaffirm their rights and obligations under the WTO Agreement, and in particularthe WTO Agreements on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS Agreement)and on Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT Agreement). The Parties which are not members of theWTO also confirm their commitment to comply with the obligations set out in the SPS and TBTAgreements with regard to all matters concerning relations between the Parties.2. The Parties reaffirm their commitment to improve public health in the territories of thesignatory Central African States, in particular by strengthening their capacity to identify unsafeproducts, pursuant to Article 47.3.
