strobilurin fungicide (azoxystrobin) alone and in combination with azole group of
fungicides delayed senescence and increased LAI. Alone application of azole
reduced LAI, but in combination with strobilurin increased it significantly. Tebuconazole
alone and in combination with azoxystrobin (No. 2 and 13) reduced height
of plant stand as well as seed yield, while increased protein content over other
fungicidal treatments. Minimal value of oil content with maximum concentration of
linoleic acid was obtained with application of moddus (No. 9) over other treatments.
Application of fungicides did not exceed the hazardous limits for values of FFA and
PV. No obvious difference in the concentration of saturated and unsaturated fatty
acids was observed among fungicidal treatments and control. Sulphur application
increased seed yield as well as concentration of glucosinolates of rapeseed.
It can be concluded that inclusion of strobilurin in azole group of fungicides have
the ability to improve morphological structure of rapeseed plant result in more upright
canopy which is less susceptible to diseases and lodging. This modification of the
canopy allows better penetration of light and may result in considerably improved
growth, yield and quality parameters of winter rapeseed.
