Page 3
* Trench "I" planning and discussions are underway. DDI has not yet received any feedback from
Rowand regarding bucket dimensions, spec sheet, cameras, etc. DDI to provide this information
by Monday, 3/18/2010. The Jewel rep was on site this week and is going to provide additional
information to answer the questions raised. DDI needs to provide a large number of ecology
blocks for use in Trench 1. These need to have a rated picking point and be in very good shape.
will do everything it can to support these tasks as necessary. DDI is getting a person SCBA
certified. A discussion regarding the use of WCH equipment by trained personnel is needed.
* DDI is to identify and establish a container dumping area. This will be coordinated with the
WCH EPL. Identifying this area needs to become a priority. The can in the HRA has been there
a while and needs to be addressed.
* WCH has three confirmatory sampling sites what will require DDI equipment support. More
informnation will be provided soon. WCH pushing for an April timeframe to perform this work.
* WCH is concerned that DDI has not produced a baseline schedule for the project. DDL planning
to submit next revision of baseline schedule on 3/16/2010. WCH will be issuing an SDR to DDI
for the lack of a baseline schedule. WCH has received submittal and is in review.
a DDI to develop a process for segregating metal debris from void space to keep the wrong items
from being loaded out. DDI is developing a posting system to identify specific segregated areas.
DDI is working on this, nothing has been implemented to date.
