Trench K is opened up, DDI to have calcium chloride on site for dust control. DDI to look into<br />

utilizing Dust Bond in trenches K, N, 0 and 1. DDI to provide mixture ratios for WCH profile.<br />

WCH is looking into the availability of having Dust Bond totes on site for use with dust control.<br />

DDI to have calcium chloride on site before opening up Trench K excavations.<br />

* DDI evaluating a location for truck washing. This will be coordinated with the WCH EPL. This<br />

will be set up next to the high tank.<br />

* Trench "I" planning and discussions are underway. DDI has not yet received any feedback from<br />

Rowand regarding bucket dimensions, spec sheet, cameras, etc. DDI to provide this information<br />

by Monday, 3/18/2010. The Jewel rep was on site this week and is going to provide additional<br />

information to answer the questions raised. DDI needs to provide a large number of ecology<br />

blocks for use in Trench 1. These need to have a rated picking point and be in very good shape.<br />

DDI to follow-up with Jewell and Rowand machinery for information on cameras and<br />

dimensional information on clam shell. DNFSB presentation went well. WCH is planning a<br />

management review at the end of next week. WCH needs additional information on the camera<br />

and other equipment as soon as possible. WCH will be holding a workshop meeting with the<br />

local defense board, DOE and WCH management later in April. Any additional information that<br />

can be gathered on equipment will be beneficial.<br />

* WCH has three confirmatory sampling sites what will require DDI equipment support. More<br />

information will be provided soon. WCH pushing for an April timeframe to perform this work.<br />

A walkdown of one of the sites will be occurring today. WCH will schedule a discussion for next<br />

week to discuss the excavation of the two or 3 sites that are included in the current contract.<br />

" WCH is concerned that DDI has not produced a baseline schedule for the project. DDI planning<br />

to submit next revision of baseline schedule on 3/16/20 10. WCH will be issuing an SDR to DDI<br />

for the lack of a baseline schedule. WCH has received submittal and is in review.<br />

* DDI to develop a process for segregating metal debris from void space to keep the wrong items<br />

from being loaded out. DDI is developing a posting system to identify specific segregated areas.<br />

DDI is working on this, nothing has been implemented to date.<br />

* Discuss implementation and oversight of equipment maintenance plan with the resignation of the<br />

DDI mechanic.<br />

PROJECT DESIGN DRAWINGS<br />

*WCH return electrical and traffic control drawings to DDI, status 2. DDI will be resubmitting<br />

soon incorporating the WCH comments. DDI to submit this week. Drawings are with North<br />

Point for revision and will be resubmitted upon their return.<br />

o Electrical drawings are a priority as CHPRC will be making some revisions to them for<br />

some additional air monitoring stations on the 118-K electrical service.<br />
