" Planned dry run for Trench I to begin 11/29. (11/16) Start pushed out due to weather. (11/30)<br />

Need to pinpoint starting dates for dry runs now that equipment is located in the [IRA. WCH to<br />

review the PSR to determine what will be evaluated for readiness from the dry run. (12/7) A dry<br />

run checklist will be developed after the holidays for the 400 excavator. (12/14) Dry run in<br />

Trench A to begin 1/3/11 as planned. (12/28) Dry runs have been moved to 1/6. (1/4) Dry runs<br />

utilizing Trench A were performed on 1/6-11, WCH RE currently working on video connection<br />

troubleshooting. (1/12) All cameras are now working, continuing mock-ups. Some work<br />

package and RWP issues relating to the cone penetrometers are being resolved. (1/18)<br />

" Trench I work package training to begin Tuesday 1/4/11 after the POD. (1/4) Completed 1/5/11.<br />

(1/12) Before work can begin, a detailed briefing of the work packing will be given to the Trench<br />

I Silo work crew. (1/18)<br />

" Trench I RWP and BWP training to begin Wednesday 1/5/11 after the POD. (1/4) The RWP was<br />

briefed with the crew on 1/6/11. (1/12)<br />

" John Heard will be leaving the project and WCH. Doug Ordal will be taking over as Subcontract<br />

Specialist for the project. (12/28) Doug Ordal introduced to key project personnel. (1/4) WCH<br />

will provide a letter to DDI announcing the appointment of Doug to the project. (1/12) A formal<br />

letter to DDI is coming from WCH announcing that contract duties are being assumed by Doug<br />

Ordal.<br />

" Discussed requirement for discussing work to be performed prior to performance (tailgates, work<br />

authorization, necessary oversight, etc.) (12/28) DDI suggested that the Plan-of-Tomorrow<br />

meeting be more formalized. POT will become a scheduled daily meeting at 1530 hours each<br />

day. (1/4) The more formalized POT appears to be working well. (1/12)<br />

UPDATED ROLLING 3-4 WEEK LOOK AHEAD SCHEDULE<br />

" No change from last week.<br />

" Trench I work package training scheduled for 1/5/11 after the POD. (1/4) Crew briefing<br />

performed 1/5/11. (1/12)<br />

" Trench I RWP and BWP training scheduled for Thursday 1/6/11 after the POD. (1/4) Crew<br />

received briefing on the Trench I RWP on 1/6/11. (1/12)<br />

" PSR in final review and plans are for WCFI to have it available to be signed off Monday or<br />

Tuesday of next week. (1/4) PSR sign off has been rescheduled for Monday, 1/17/11. (1/12)<br />

o After PSR is signed off, cone penetrometers and lids will be pulled.<br />

o Block wall will be completed. (1/4) The first layer of the block wall has been completed.<br />

Once the cone penetrometers and lids are removed, the remainder of the wall will be<br />

constructed. (1/12)<br />

* Once RWP is revised and approved, cone penetrometers can be removed and mock-ups will<br />

commence.<br />
