VIII. WORK PACKAGE NEEDS IN ORDER OF PRIORITY AS SET BY DDI
*WCH intends to begin working on Trench I silo work packages in early August. Tentative
meeting set for 8/16 to discuss work package for Trench I silos. WCH to confirm with planners
on schedule. (8/3) When the initial work package is developed, craft will be involved in the fine
tuning of the WP. (8/10) Meeting postponed to Monday, 8/23. (8/17) Meeting moved to
Wednesday 8/25 at 8:00. In the near future a WCH planner will be on site three days a week for
support with work packages and technical procedure needs. (8/24) Informal review of existing
work packages has begun by WCH Planners. WCH will involve DDI field personnel as the work
draws closer. (8/3 1) Ongoing. (9/7). WCH would like to begin including DDI SS in the work
package planning process. (9/28) Meeting scheduled for Thursday, 10/28 to discuss work
package needs relating to overburden removal to locate the tops of the silos in Trench 1. (10/26)
The plan is to have the THA complete by 11/18/2010. There may be additional changes or tweaks
after the dry runs are completed. (11/16) WCH SMRT review scheduled, final work package
should be available for approval next week. (11/30) No change, plan to have review by the end
of the week. (12/7) Work Package is with the planners and should be signed off by the end of
this week. (12/14) Trench I work package is complete. (12/28) Crew briefing on Trench I work
package is scheduled for 1/5-6/11. (1/4)

X. QUALITY
* WCH QA informed DDI that SCI training is available free of charge and recommended they send
some people through the training. Bob Carter will be administering the training. (1/4)
* WCH QA will be participating in a factual accuracy meeting with DOE tomorrow about the DDI
QA plan. (1/4)
* WCH QA provided DDI with copy of assessments coming up in the near future. (1/4)
FUTURE ASSESSMENTS
* WCH will be issuing SDR this week to DDI for deficiencies for DDI Procurement
Controls/Control or Purchased Items and Services. (FR-2010-IF-0664-SDR-023) (8/24) WCH
has received and accepted the CAP from DDI for SDR-023. Corrective action timeline has been
extended to January. (11/9) WCH to perform surveillance for CAP implementation.
* WCH to issue SDR (FR-2010-IF-0749-SDR-024) to DDI for III breathing air calibration issues.
(10/12) WCI- has received CAP from DDI. (11/9) WCH to perform follow-up surveillance for
implementation of CAP. (11/30)
" WCH to provide SDR (FR-2010-IF-0826-SDR-025) today to DDI for IH equipment past the
calibration date. (9/28) WCH has received CAP from DDI. (11/9) WCH to perform follow-up
surveillance for implementation of CAP. (11/30)
