SECTION 4<br />

PROCUREMENT DOCUMENT CONTROL<br />

1.0 SCOPE<br />

This section identifies the requirements and establishes the criteria for the DDI Team<br />

Procurement Document Control and addresses Requirement 4 of ASME NQA- 1.<br />

2.0 DEFINITIONS<br />

2.1 PROCUREMENT DOCUMENT - Purchase requisitions, purchase orders, drawings,<br />

contracts, specifications, or instructions used to define requirements for purchase<br />

2.2 PURCHASER - The organization responsible for incorporating requirements into<br />

procurement documents and for the issuance and/or administration of these documents.<br />

2.3 RIGHT OF ACCESS - The right of a Purchaser<br />

3.0 PROCUREMENT DOCUMENT CONTROL<br />

3.3 Technical requirements, where necessary, shall be specified by reference to specific<br />

drawings, specifications, codes, standards, regulations, procedures, or instructions,<br />

including revisions thereto, that describe the items or services to be furnished.<br />

3.4 Identification of DDI Team test, inspection, and acceptance requirements for monitoring<br />

and evaluating the Supplier's performance.<br />

3.5 A requirement for the Supplier to have a documented QA Program that implements<br />

appropriate portions of a national quality standard (e.g. ASMFE NQA-l) as identified by<br />

the DDI Team. The extent of the required program shall depend upon the scope of the<br />

supplier's activities and the importance and for complexity of the item or service being<br />

procured.<br />
