plan development is in process. The drums are in an exclusion zone due to the contamination on<br />

the outside of the drums. (11/2) No change. (11/9) WCH is developing a characterization plan.<br />

(11/16) No update. (11/30) Characterization plan is with WCH Engineering for review. (12/7)<br />

No update. (12/14) Characterization plan is at the planning for evaluation. (12/28) No change.<br />

(1/4) Plan has been returned from the planning department and is in review by project<br />

management. WCH would like to have review complete and returned to planning with changes<br />

this week. (1/12) Hans Carmen, RE who will be helping Doug Teachout, will be taking the lead<br />

in finalizing this plan. (1/18) A JHA walkdown is scheduled for tomorrow. Once final tweaks<br />

are completed, plan will be reviewed with the crew and implemented. (1/25) No update. (2/8)<br />

JHA walkdown scheduled for 2/16 and will include post-planning and a walk down with the<br />

associated crew. (2/15) JHA walk down has been completed, revisions will be made based on<br />

questions asked. Another JHA will be scheduled when revisions are complete. (2/22)<br />

* In Trenchs D, E, P, and G, there are twelve (12) small spots that will be dug up (no more than 6"<br />

by shovel) and bagged by a laborer in full PPE with RCT support before area will be downposted.<br />

(1/18) Approximately half of the spots have been cleaned up to date. (1/25) Most of the<br />

trenches have been down posted to SCA. The south slope is still up up-posted near Trench H/I.<br />

There will be RBA areas where the debris has been identified. (2/8) LARADS will be finished<br />

next week. Based on information already received, there will be several spots that will require<br />

clean up and will then be re-surveyed. DDI is reviewing the bottle cart checklist and will have it<br />

updated and ready for use when needed. (2/15) LARADS will be back tomorrow to develop<br />

plan. DDI is checking the certs on bottles that were delivered this week. (2/22)<br />

* DDI is requesting a full scope of work for Trench I. They believed this was supposed to have<br />

been provided as part of CN 030. WCH will look into this. (2/2) No update. (2/8) WCH will<br />

provide letter or other documentation to DDI soon. One consideration is to rev CN 030 to include<br />

reference to Trench I work package which is specific in scope. (2/15) Rev. I of CN 030 is being<br />

developed and will be issued this week. (2/22)<br />

* Need to do a run through of the anomaly checklist. It has been a while since it has been used.<br />

(2/8)<br />

" DDI notified of signage improvements needed in excavation areas. Some areas do not have signs,<br />

some need to be revised. DDI will look into this. (2/8) DDI indicated postings are in process of<br />

being updated. (2/15) DDI and WCH PSR will conduct a walk down of signage tomorrow.<br />

" A corrective action (IF) has been written for extension cords. The hydrant at the CHPRC line is<br />

heat taped and powered by an extension cord. Inspections, per procedure, should be done daily<br />

on the whole cord. This cord is covered by a board and it is not apparent that the inspections are<br />

being completed. (2/8) DDI is working on a resolution. (2/15) DDI to install the cover<br />

tomorrow morning. (2/22)<br />

* DDI indicated that they anticipate working next Friday, February 2 5 'h, weather permitting.<br />

I11. PROJECT DESIGN DRAWINGS<br />

* None.<br />

* DDI given notice that when LARADS and close out sampling is completed it will be time to<br />

schedule final civil survey drawings. (2/15) DDI would like to schedule LARADS for trenches<br />

D, P, F, C and 0. WCH indicated that the "hot spot" in trench 0 needs to be taken care of before<br />

LARADS can be scheduled to survey that trench. (2/22)<br />
