Monday, 1/3. (12/28) On 1/3/11 work resumed in Trench K. Load out of previously sorted<br />

odorous material has begun. No issues encountered so far. (1/4)<br />

* RCTs working on survey of trenches D, E, P and G to prepare for GPERS survey. (11/16)<br />

Surveys on hold due to weather conditions. (11/30) DDI requests trenches D, E, P, and G<br />

retainage release. WCH is evaluating this. Surveys to begin, weather and personnel permitting.<br />

(12/14) RCTs scheduled to begin surveys of trenches D and P on 1/3/11. (12/28) WCH<br />

suggested that Trenches 0, J, L and H be down posted.<br />

* Beryllium training for on-site craft supervision has been scheduled. (11/16) Discussed REA,<br />

CN, etc. (11/30) WCH to finalize scheduling for remaining DDI supervisory personnel for<br />

beryllium supervisor training. The next scheduled class to be 1/19. (12/14) Flowers and<br />

Holbrook are scheduled to complete the training on 1/19. (12/28) Discussion of what beryllium<br />

training is necessary for the new DDI craft employees. WCH to get clarification at the BWPT<br />

finalization meeting this afternoon. (1/4)<br />

* Planned dry run for Trench I to begin 11/29. (11/16) Start pushed out due to weather. (11/30)<br />

Need to pinpoint starting dates for dry runs now that equipment is located in the HRA. WCH to<br />

review the PSR to determine what will be evaluated for readiness from the dry run. (12/7) A dry<br />

run checklist will be developed after the holidays for the 400 excavator. (12/14) Dry run in<br />

Trench A to begin 1/3/11 as planned. (12/28) Dry runs have been moved to 1/6. (1/4)<br />

* Trench I work package training to begin Tuesday 1/4/11 after the POD.<br />

" Trench I RWP and BWP training to begin Wednesday 1/5/11 after the POD.<br />

* John Heard will be leaving the project and WCH. Doug Ordal will be taking over as Subcontract<br />

Specialist for the project. (12/28) Doug Ordal introduced to key project personnel. (1/4)<br />

* Discussed requirement for discussing work to be performed prior to performance (tailgates, work<br />

authorization, necessary oversight, etc.) (12/28) DDI suggested that the Plan-of-Tomorrow<br />

meeting be more formalized. POT will become a scheduled daily meeting at 1530 hours each<br />

day. (1/4)<br />

* PSR in final review and plans are for WCH to have it available to be signed off Monday or<br />

Tuesday of next week. (1/4)<br />

o After PSR is signed off, cone penetrometers and lids will be pulled.<br />

o Block wall will be completed.<br />

* No intrusive work can be started relative to Trench I until the PSR has been approved and signed<br />

off by WCH management.<br />
