*WCH has received billing for May and is reviewing.
o WCH will be sending a letter to DDI indicating that WCH intends to withhold payment until
the overdue as-built drawings are received. DDI requested WCH to provide value of
holdback. WCH agreed to communicate this by the end of the day. (6/8)
OTHER COMMENTS/NEW ACTION ITEMS
* DDI requests a discussion about the cost of the confirmatory samples sent out for processing.
" DDI asked about safety and cascading coverage requirements when a key individual is off site.
Specific reference was made to situation on Friday June 4 when crew was scheduled to work but
DDI did not have an HSO on site and did not communicate this to WCH until that morning.
WCH instructed that this would not be allowed to happen again.
* DDI requested assistance from WCH STR and PM for help in understanding where to draw
contractual lines with subtier subcontractors.
* There will a site-wide emergency preparedness drill on June 17. WCH understand that this will
be a "take cover" situation. All sites will be participating.
* Discussed work package controls, specifically Craft Work Packages. A Performance Sheet need
to be completed anytime a craft work package is briefed to be worked to per IWCP procedures.
This should include description of work to be done, who did the briefing, who will be working to
the work package, etc. This needs to be signed by the DDI SS and the WCH RM (either Chris
Beach or Scott Parnell).
" DDI HSO did not make her physical appointment yesterday. The soonest this can be rescheduled
will be late July. There is some question whether she can enter the HRA. WCH is to confirm.
" DDI will be bringing deli trays for lunch for the whole crew (including RCTs and WCH
personnel) as a thank you for a good job.
" WCH approved CIH Samuel Englehard as CIH. Visit last week from Phil Bartley went well;
DDI received excellent review of the current CIH plan and implementation under Joe Price. (6/8)
