approvals are with the CHPRC 100-K Fire Protection Engineer pending their approval of this<br />

system. Additional request has been made for CAD drawings of this configuration by the Fire<br />

Protection Engineer. WCH has followed up on status and has resolved CHPRC concerns and<br />

requests. Currently just waiting on the permits to be issued by CHPRC. Discussed 150 gpm<br />

restrictor to be installed at the hydrant tie-in as well as an additional restrictor at the water high<br />

tank. Penmits scheduled to be complete by 1/14/2010. Still waiting on permits from CHPRC.<br />

WCH following up. Hydrant permit is in hand, waiting for excavation permit. Plan to perform<br />

work on water line on an off shift work day, pushing for Friday 2/19/2010. Excavation permit is<br />

complete. Discussed that 1 00-K water will be shut-off this weekend. Friday work is pending.<br />

Further discussed backflow preventer versus air-gap installation requirements. DDI is pursuing<br />

additional changes to the water system tie-in. WCH met with CHPRC again on 2/22/2010. DDI<br />

to complete system construction while new permits are pending. Decision has been made to<br />

utilize the existing permits in place. DDI will begin to get materials on site to support installation<br />

of water tie-in to support installation date of Friday, 3/19/2010. Work inside the fence next door<br />

needs to be complete by the end of the weekend of the 19 'h so not to disrupt their work. DDI<br />

indicated system should be operational the week of March 22. DDI waiting on materials, flow<br />

restrictors, tanks, calcium chloride. Underground installations completed in the 1 00-K area. DDI<br />

does not yet have parts on-site to complete the above ground installations to complete the tie-ins.<br />

DDI to provide information/details for additional flow requests. DDI to prepare as-built<br />

information prior to energizing system. High tank is in place and operational. DDI is having<br />

some issues with float valve that they are continuing to work through. Getting this system<br />

operational inside the burial ground needs to be a priority.<br />

" Discussion of waste oil uses and testing of same if oil is taken off site. Will discuss further with<br />

environmental regarding Watts' re-use of waste oil. WCH is investigating from an environmental<br />

perspective. DDI to supersede the SPCC with an OMP. WCH has evaluated waste oil for<br />

heaters. DDI to provide a designation of non-regulated and/or specification on used oil that<br />

qualifies to burn prior to removal of any waste oil from the site. When DDI has submitted OMP,<br />

Enviromnental will get WCH concurrence. DDI plans to submit by 1/27/20 10. DDI requesting<br />

assistance/support with designations. WCH in review of the OMP, WCH will provide support to<br />

DDI with the required designations for waste oil burning. DDI to submit revised OMP this week.<br />

DDI is working with WCH EPL on clarifications. WCH EPL to observe Watts's oil burning<br />

facility on 3/18/2010. DDI will submit OMP after that date. OMP waiting on ARES revision to<br />

drawings, then DDI will submit. Drawings should be available for pickup by DDI this week then<br />

the OMP will be submitted.<br />

* DDI to provide a plan to access the top of the diesel fuel storage tank. DDI confirmed ladder is<br />

on site. Will be meeting with WCH Safety about use and training requirements prior to<br />

developing and implementing a plan for utilization. DDI plans to construct scaffolding with<br />

handrails to access top of tank. WCH will be issuing a new scaffolding procedure soon and will<br />

incorporate any potential changes or impacts to the subcontractor. DDI will be installing a ladder<br />

and tie-off point next week. WCH will need to have the tie-off point inspected by a qualified<br />

person prior to use. DDI will install ladder bolts from the ground for the first two or three rungs<br />

and then contract with Northpoint to complete the remainder of the ladder installation. DDI to<br />

complete fall prevention JHA and make sure that work package is discussed and clear to all<br />

involved. DDI discussing a "flip-plate" to be used to stick check levels in the tank from the top<br />

of the ladder. DDI needs to check that modifications made to the tank are in compliance with the<br />

manufacturer's specs. Ladder to be installed today (3/23/20 10). Ladder installation delayed<br />

because the bolts where too large for the holes.<br />

* DDI will be providing calcium chloride for the water system when it is operational. Before
