* No intrusive work can be started relative to Trench I until the PSR has been approved and signed
off by WCH management.

MANPOWER

* WCH asks if DDI has any plans to bring on an additional teamster. (8/10) DDI indicated there
are no plans to bring on another teamster. This leaves seven (7) teamsters for 10 trucks. (8/17)
* Recently WCH observed operators driving water trucks. Per the HSSA contract that is not
allowable. DDI will issue a letter to their sub-tier, WCI concerning this. (8/10) DDI has not yet
issued letter. (8/17) No update. (8/24)
EQUIPMENT
* See attached.
* 350 excavator will be on site by the end of the week. A bucket that may be utilized on this
machine that is configured for CRATER use is coming from the WCH 100-D project without
required escorting, etc. (8/3) No update, DDI to confirm the ETA of the 350 to the project.
(8/10) The 350 excavator will be on site by the end of the week or first of next week. (8/17)
* The 225 excavator will be moved to allow for decontamination and will eventually be moved off
site. (8/24)
WORK PACKAGE NEEDS IN ORDER OF PRIORITY AS SET BY DDI
* None.
* WCH intends to begin working on Trench I silo work packages in early August. Tentative
meeting set for 8/16 to discuss work package for Trench I silos. WCH to confirm with planners
on schedule. (8/3) When the initial work package is developed, craft will be involved in the fine
tuning of the WP. (8/10) Meeting postponed to Monday, 8/23. (8/17) Meeting moved to
Wednesday 8/25 at 8:00. In the near future a WCH planner will be on site three days a week for
support with work packages and technical procedure needs. (8/24)
MATERIAL
*DDI is planning to begin the process of ordering ecology blocks that will be used in the Trench I
Silo remediation. (7/27) DDI is planning for approximately 150 ecology blocks. (8/3)
0 WCH will be issuing an additional change notice for trench I that will require provision of
means and methods as well as materials such as ecology blocks. (8/10)
X. QUALITY
*The Kenworth haul trucks are on hold for use with 25-ton cans until final certification data is
provided. Submittal for certification was returned status 3. No update (5/4). No update. (5/11)
