* All Trench I silos have been excavated to the 10' level. As anticipated, around the 9 to 10 foot
level the excavator encounters a lid like plate in Silo 6. There has been no dose associated with
the plate at this time. The plan is to go back and continue remediation past the 10' level,
beginning with silo 3. A question was raised whether the lid should be considered an anomaly.

" Trench N has now been posted as an HPA (High Particle Area.)
V. MANPOWER
* DDI announced that they will not be replacing their admin position at this time.

EQUIPMENT
" Watts will be removing Haul Truck #303 from service. DDI will be requesting release from the
contract for that truck. (2/15)
" Watts also anticipates reducing the number of excavators on site, with the John Deere 450
machine being the one to leave site first as it is a rental. (2/15)

QUALITY
*WCH QA will be participating in a factual accuracy meeting with DOE tomorrow about the DDI
QA plan. (1/4) WCH did not receive any take away input from the meeting. (1/12) This item
will remain in the minutes until DOE has submitted their findings to WCH. (1/25)
FUTURE ASSESSMENTS
* WCH will be issuing SDR this week to DDI for deficiencies for DDI Procurement
Controls/Control or Purchased Items and Services. (FR-2010-LF-0664-SDR-023) (8/24) WCH
has received and accepted the CAP from DDI for SDR-023. Corrective action timeline has been
extended to January. (11/9) WCH to perform surveillance for CAP implementation due 2/1 /11.
(1/12) WCH and DDI will meet to discuss. (2/8) WCH QA is working on a compensatory plan
for DDI. (2/15)
* WCH will be performing a follow-up surveillance (to be completed by March) to verify the
implementation of the corrective action plans for FR-2010-WF-0749-SDR-024 and 025. This
surveillance, when acceptable, will close out these two SDRs. (2/8) WCH project management
will be meeting today to review completion of SDR actions. (2/22)
" WCH issued a new SDR to DDI relating to the OMP walkdown performed by WCH EPL. (1/18)
FR-201 I -IF-201 l-0015-SDR-O01 was submitted to DDI on 1/18/2011. WCH has received CAP
from DDI on 1/20/11. (1/25) WCH EPL audit of OMP procedures last week. DDI is
documenting when fuel is received, but not as it is being used. (2/2) WCH rejected the initial
CAP from DDI. A second response was submitted by DDI and WCH has approved. (2/15)
WCI- project management will be meeting today to review completion of SDR actions. (2/22)
