* Remediation PSR Checklist draft in process of review. Completion of items in process. Scheduled
completion 10/22. All items should be submitted relating to the PSR no later than 10/22. PSR
Management review for sign off will be 10/28/2009. DDI requested to follow up on QA and
Training plans and then meet with E. Adamson.
* Discussed gasoline fueling requirements in Burial Ground and how this will be addressed by
Watts Construction. DDI to set some sort of control in place on the fuel tank and provide to
WCH. DDI has determined that no vehicle mounted fueling tanks for gasoline will be on site.
* Discussed diesel fuel storage tank requirements, potential location, power needs and
documentation requirements. Tank to be delivered 9/24. DDI to submit tank rigging plan and
details, WCH to verify plan requirements for 8,000 gallon tank. DDI to submit tank details for
hose and reel design. DDI to provide appropriate submittals
" DDI and WCH to discuss tank ladder fall protection requirements. DDI to propose providing
JLG, manlift, etc.
" 1H equipment to begin showing up in the next two weeks. 1H program submitted to and being
returned with comments (WCH) this week. WCH current in review of these. 1H equipment is
on-site, excavators are being set up and personnel are in training.
" WCH to clarify tritium downwind monitoring requirements. WCH checking on RadCon and
Environmental requirements. DOE has agreed with proposal and it has been forwarded to EPA
for review/concurrence.
" Discussed site lighting in new walking, working areas and tent areas, all of which are to be
verified for proper lighting. Discussion continued on alternative light sources such as light plant
at rail crossing into site, additional parking lot and entrance lighting.
* Discussed WCH tobacco use policy, designated smoke areas, etc. WCH will be establishing
designated smoking areas. WCH will enforce this policy.
" Need Electrical Drawings for electrical tie-ins.
" WCH requested status of Cold Weather Protection plan from DDI.
" DDI needs to abide by the approved bucket truck inspection plan. Per DDI the bucket truck will
be on-site 10/15/2009. WCH Safety to follow up on aerial lift and associated fall protection
requirements. DDI to verify/confirm electricians fall protection training.
" Schedule for emergency drill preparation was discussed. Drill was performed 10/15. Field drill
options discussed.
" Modesty clothing/laundry service will be provided and blues as well as towels.

designs and trailer site electrical needs as-built drawings.
