14. The LRS shall allow COUNTY-specified Users to input that an alert<br />

or reminder has been reviewed and should be dispositioned by the<br />

LRS.<br />

15. The LRS shall produce reminders for COUNTY-specified Users when<br />

necessary action has not been taken on a case and shall warn<br />

COUNTY-specified Users <strong>of</strong> escalation if the appropriate action is not<br />

taken immediately.<br />

16. The LRS shall escalate reminders to supervisors when COUNTYspecified<br />

Users fail to take necessary action on a case after a<br />

COUNTY-specified time period.<br />

17. The LRS shall identify which alerts, reminders, and controls require<br />

response and cannot be deleted by COUNTY-specified Users without<br />

completing the response.<br />

18. The LRS shall route alerts, reminders, and controls to an alternate staff<br />

person when COUNTY-specified Users are not available because <strong>of</strong><br />

vacation, leave, regular day <strong>of</strong>f, or some other reason.<br />

19. The LRS shall maintain records <strong>of</strong> expected interface files to be<br />

received for reporting and shall alert COUNTY-specified Users when<br />

interface files are overdue or missing.<br />

20. The LRS shall include extensive filtering <strong>of</strong> alerts, reminders, and<br />

controls that allows Users to focus on a specific alert, reminder, or<br />

control.<br />

21. The LRS shall provide for the prioritization <strong>of</strong> all reminders in a<br />

unique and sequential manner, so that the exact priority <strong>of</strong> reminders<br />

and the order in which they must be worked is clearly understandable.<br />

22. The LRS shall allow Users based on security pr<strong>of</strong>ile to establish and<br />

save filtering criteria and rules for alerts, reminders, and controls for<br />

future User sessions and/or as a default.<br />

2.19.3 Controls.<br />

1. The LRS shall include the ability to control for future case action(s).<br />

2. The LRS shall control for the return <strong>of</strong> missing, unverified, and/or<br />

interim verification.<br />

3. The LRS shall control for the return <strong>of</strong> all forms issued to the<br />

applicant/participant that are required for eligibility determination.<br />

4. The LRS shall set controls for required appointments and take<br />

appropriate action based on program-specific and regulatory rules if<br />

appointments are missed.<br />
