10. The LRS shall include the ability to retain and locate the record <strong>of</strong> an<br />

employee who has left a COUNTY department in case the employee<br />

should return.<br />

11. The LRS shall include the ability to assign a “generic” worker to cases<br />

in the event that a file becomes uncovered.<br />

12. The LRS shall prohibit the ending <strong>of</strong> a file, unit, section, or <strong>of</strong>fice,, if<br />

cases are still assigned to that file, unit, section, or <strong>of</strong>fice. The LRS<br />

shall be able to print lists by file, unit, section, or <strong>of</strong>fice in paper or<br />

electronic format <strong>of</strong> all cases still assigned that prohibit the ending <strong>of</strong><br />

the file, unit, section, or <strong>of</strong>fice.<br />

13. The LRS shall calculate and record worker productivity and pr<strong>of</strong>ile<br />

information.<br />

14. The LRS shall collect and provide LRS Data for the purposes <strong>of</strong> staff<br />

assignments and staff utilization.<br />

15. The LRS shall maintain the organizational structure <strong>of</strong> the COUNTY<br />

department, including all locations, <strong>of</strong>fices, sections, units, and files.<br />

16. The LRS shall maintain the reporting relationships between<br />

individuals and organizational units.<br />

17. The LRS shall maintain the roles <strong>of</strong> each employee in the supervision<br />

<strong>of</strong> employees and the approval <strong>of</strong> work transactions.<br />

18. The LRS shall provide a method for COUNTY-specified Users based<br />

on security pr<strong>of</strong>ile to select multiple User accounts and perform batch<br />

personnel management actions (e.g., inactivation, suspension,<br />

archiving, or voiding <strong>of</strong> Users’ accounts).<br />

2.26 HISTORY MAINTENANCE:<br />

The LRS shall provide for maintenance <strong>of</strong> historical LRS Data on both active and<br />

closed cases in accordance with applicable federal, State, and local laws, rules,<br />

regulations, ordinances, guidelines, directives, policies, and procedures. History<br />

maintenance shall enable COUNTY to take full advantage <strong>of</strong> efficient LRS Data<br />

storage techniques, including the storage <strong>of</strong> LRS Data to archive media, based on<br />

COUNTY-specified criteria. It shall also include a mechanism to ensure that LRS<br />

Data can be stored, tracked, or recovered for certain purposes, including:<br />
