5. The LRS shall include “Show me how to” features, coaches, and<br />
expert systems along with “What’s this?” activation to facilitate User<br />
access to more detailed online Help functions.<br />
6. The LRS shall include a Help file system that contains key word<br />
search capabilities (index) and a full glossary <strong>of</strong> all terms and contents<br />
with hyperlinks.<br />
7. The LRS online documentation and/or Help functions shall include<br />
search capabilities.<br />
8. The LRS online documentation and/or Help functions shall include the<br />
ability to “hotlink” to other pertinent Help topics within the Help<br />
document.<br />
9. The LRS online documentation and/or Help functions shall include the<br />
ability to “hotlink” to other pertinent Web-based sites on COUNTY<br />
intranets or the Internet.<br />
10. The LRS online documentation and/or Help functions shall include an<br />
online LRS Handbook for reference by COUNTY-specified Users,<br />
with search capabilities.<br />
11. The LRS online documentation and/or Help functions shall be<br />
consistent with all other written materials produced by<br />
CONTRACTOR or COUNTY.<br />
12. The LRS shall include online documentation and/or Help that can be<br />
viewed online and/or printed to a local printer as desired.<br />
13. The LRS shall include, for COUNTY-specified Users, an easily<br />
identifiable LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware version number, version date,<br />
and a hyperlink to a current version details explanation on the main<br />
page <strong>of</strong> the LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware.<br />
14. The LRS shall include, for COUNTY-specified Users, a hyperlink to<br />
detailed information describing the details <strong>of</strong> previous versions <strong>of</strong> the<br />
LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware.<br />
15. The LRS shall allow COUNTY-specified Users to capture appropriate<br />
hyperlinks to commonly used LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware pages, LRS<br />
reference documentation, and online Help.<br />
3.4.3 Business Logic.<br />
The Business Logic Layer specifies the s<strong>of</strong>tware, protocol, or<br />
methodology by which business rules are enforced within the LRS<br />
Application S<strong>of</strong>tware. Ideally, the description <strong>of</strong> the business logic should<br />
conform to a standard that is platform independent, i.e., able to execute<br />
