7. The LRS shall allow COUNTY-specified Users to enter demographic<br />

information on the application for each individual in the household,<br />

including non-applicants and/or ineligible individuals who live with<br />

the applicant and whose income and/or resources may affect<br />

eligibility.<br />

8. The LRS shall validate the household composition for appropriate<br />

public assistance programs.<br />

9. The LRS shall allow COUNTY-specified Users to initiate a<br />

determination <strong>of</strong> potential non-financial eligibility, by person and by<br />

case, immediately following the collection <strong>of</strong> non-financial<br />

information.<br />

10. The LRS shall allow COUNTY-specified Users to initiate a<br />

determination <strong>of</strong> potential income eligibility, by person and by case,<br />

immediately following the collection <strong>of</strong> income information.<br />

11. The LRS shall determine what income is to be included or excluded<br />

and how to treat the income, based on program-specific rules.<br />

12. The LRS shall allow COUNTY-specified Users to initiate a<br />

determination <strong>of</strong> potential resource eligibility, by person and by case,<br />

immediately following the collection <strong>of</strong> resource information.<br />

13. The LRS shall determine what resources are to be included or<br />

excluded and how to treat the resources, based on program-specific<br />

rules.<br />

14. The LRS shall display results to COUNTY-specified Users after each<br />

eligibility determination, for User review and the editing <strong>of</strong><br />

information, as necessary.<br />

15. The LRS shall, from the results display screen, directly link to source<br />

screen(s) that are related to the displayed result(s), in order to provide<br />

COUNTY-specified Users with an efficient method for correcting any<br />

erroneous result(s).<br />

16. The LRS shall display all reasons, including calculation details, to<br />

COUNTY-specified Users for review and editing <strong>of</strong> information, as<br />

necessary, with direct links back to source screen(s) that are related to<br />

the displayed result(s).<br />

17. The LRS shall continue processing the application for any remaining<br />

programs if, at any point in time, the information collected results in<br />

ineligibility for one or more programs.<br />

18. The LRS shall allow for continued processing <strong>of</strong> the application for<br />

any remaining individual(s) in the household if, at any point in time,<br />

the information collected results in apparent ineligibility for one or<br />

more individuals.<br />
