3. The LRS shall allow COUNTY-specified Users to disposition the<br />

hearing and electronically send results to the case carrying worker for<br />

immediate case action.<br />

4. The LRS shall include a summary <strong>of</strong> State Fair Hearing cases for each<br />

COUNTY-specified User.<br />

5. The LRS shall include links to detailed case information needed to<br />

resolve an appeal.<br />

6. The LRS shall include the ability to record and track the various due<br />

dates required for the resolution <strong>of</strong> an appeal.<br />

7. The LRS shall allow the COUNTY-specified User to search for<br />

previous appeals using criteria, including individual’s name, SSN, CA<br />

ID number, CA driver’s license number, or case number.<br />

8. The LRS shall allow COUNTY-specified Users to easily update State<br />

Fair Hearing information.<br />

9. The LRS shall include the ability to issue benefits to<br />

applicants/participants pending an appeal decision, even if the case has<br />

been discontinued.<br />

10. The LRS shall calculate overpayments and overissuances upon an<br />

appeal decision when, applicable, in order to collect benefits that were<br />

paid to participants while an appeals decision was pending.<br />

11. The LRS shall include a method for changing/reversing a prior case<br />

action (including reinstatement <strong>of</strong> any discontinued/denied cases),<br />

upon an appeal decision and generate appropriate NOAs.<br />

2.22.3 Generate Reports.<br />

1. The LRS shall include the ability to produce standard and ad hoc<br />

reports regarding GR Pre-Termination Hearings and State Fair<br />

Hearings.<br />

2. The LRS shall provide for standard and ad hoc reports that will be<br />

available both on paper and in electronic format (using COUNTYspecified<br />

version <strong>of</strong> the Micros<strong>of</strong>t Office suite format) for further<br />

sorting. Criteria for sorting and selecting shall include hearing type,<br />

appeals worker, appeals unit, or appeals section, case worker, unit,<br />

section, <strong>of</strong>fice, or division.<br />

3. The LRS shall provide reports which must support Local Office Site<br />

management <strong>of</strong> the processes down to the worker level and then<br />

progressing to unit, section, and <strong>of</strong>fice levels. Performance measures<br />

are required at each level, as determined by COUNTY.<br />
