6. LRS TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:<br />

The LRS shall provide a comprehensive and quality LRS Training Plan designed<br />

and implemented to ensure that all COUNTY-specified Users are provided<br />

training, including a comprehensive understanding <strong>of</strong> the LRS that will enable<br />

them to pr<strong>of</strong>iciently perform their duties. The LRS Training Plan shall<br />

incorporate video conferencing, e-Learning, and traditional training methods<br />

including classroom training and a knowledge base reference tool. The LRS<br />

Training Plan shall be used in both LRS implementation and ongoing training by<br />

both CONTRACTOR and COUNTY. It is essential that the highest quality<br />

training be delivered to all COUNTY-specified Users.<br />

6.1 GENERAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS.<br />

A key objective <strong>of</strong> the training requirements is that COUNTY-specified Users<br />

must be pr<strong>of</strong>icient in the use <strong>of</strong> LRS. The development <strong>of</strong> training must occur in<br />

concert with the LRS system development. One <strong>of</strong> the primary delivery methods<br />

for LRS training will be e-Learning modules that can be accessed from any<br />

workstation or laptop that can access the LRS by COUNTY-specified Users with<br />

appropriate security pr<strong>of</strong>iles and security access. COUNTY-specified Users will<br />

also be independently tested by COUNTY to ensure that CONTRACTORprovided<br />

training and materials is effective and that Users can retain learned<br />

material.<br />

The LRS training requirements during Phase 1 (Design/Development/<br />

Implementation Phase) include the following:<br />

1. The LRS shall include development and delivery <strong>of</strong> training materials for the<br />

LRS.<br />

2. The LRS shall include development and delivery <strong>of</strong> training materials in<br />

support <strong>of</strong> the Conversion and Archiving Plan and activities.<br />

3. The LRS shall not cause disruption to applicants/participants during training<br />

and conversion activities and schedules.<br />

4. The LRS shall include training which ensures the timely transition from<br />

training to actual use <strong>of</strong> the LRS for COUNTY-specified Users.<br />
