5. The LRS shall include the ability to schedule a case review<br />
appointment and send the appropriate notices and forms to the<br />
participant who is required to cooperate in the case review.<br />
6. The LRS shall alert reviewers if a change is made on the case that may<br />
affect the case review.<br />
7. The LRS shall automatically record case review activity.<br />
2.23.5 Determine the Findings and Notify User <strong>of</strong> Results.<br />
1. The LRS shall allow the reviewer to record the case review findings,<br />
including any error(s) detected and corrective action(s) required.<br />
2. The LRS shall include the ability to store all audit findings in a<br />
separate location from the case record.<br />
3. The LRS shall include a rules-based computation worksheet for<br />
reviewers to use in order to compute benefits.<br />
4. The LRS shall identify actions that require supervisor approval and<br />
alert the supervisor that his approval is needed.<br />
5. The LRS shall allow the supervisor to review the action and indicate<br />
approval/rejection, reason for rejection, and comments.<br />
6. The LRS shall notify the reviewer if action was rejected by the<br />
supervisor and the reason for the rejection.<br />
7. The LRS shall calculate summary review results and send the<br />
summary review results to COUNTY-specified Users.<br />
2.23.6 Tracking and Management <strong>of</strong> Review Cases.<br />
1. The LRS shall track errors found during a case review and control for<br />
corrective action.<br />
2. The LRS shall track cases from the point they are selected for review<br />
through the final disposition.<br />
3. The LRS shall include the ability to display, maintain, and report on<br />
key indicators, including:<br />
a. The status <strong>of</strong> the case review;<br />
b. The physical location <strong>of</strong> the case files being reviewed;<br />
c. Error findings;<br />
d. Follow-up required;<br />
e. Corrective action; and<br />
f. Final disposition <strong>of</strong> case review.<br />
