when practical, in order to minimize User training for the LRS Application<br />

S<strong>of</strong>tware.<br />

1. The LRS User interface shall logically organize information in order to<br />

allow the User to access and operate on all relevant LRS Data within<br />

an individual Web page, independent <strong>of</strong> all other Web pages, wherever<br />

possible.<br />

2. The LRS online portion <strong>of</strong> the LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware shall have a<br />

view that is efficient yet uncluttered, with a logical organization <strong>of</strong><br />

information presented to the User.<br />

3. The LRS shall present a consistent look and feel throughout the LRS<br />

Application S<strong>of</strong>tware. The display <strong>of</strong> the LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware<br />

Web pages shall be consistent in the placement <strong>of</strong> function buttons,<br />

common instructions, menus, and fields.<br />

4. The LRS shall use plain language for any alerts, notifications, or<br />

reminders and the subsequent actions to be taken in response.<br />

5. The LRS shall allow the User to move easily from one portion <strong>of</strong> the<br />

LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware to another in the least amount <strong>of</strong> time and<br />

with the minimum number <strong>of</strong> User actions (e.g. keystrokes or mouse),<br />

including the following features:<br />

a. The ability to move to the next Web page, prior Web page, and the<br />

Web page that called the current Web page;<br />

b. The ability to go to the next LRS Data entry area (e.g., text box,<br />

drop down menu, icon, etc.), prior LRS Data entry area, and the<br />

LRS Data entry area that called the current LRS Data entry area;<br />

c. The ability to save, send, clear, reset, or delete information from a<br />

page and/or screen;<br />

d. The ability to access Help Web pages by field and by Web page;<br />

and<br />

e. The ability to move and display between multiple cases.<br />

6. The LRS online portion <strong>of</strong> the LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware shall<br />

incorporate a solution that minimizes the need for Web pages to<br />

refresh every time the User enters or receives new data.<br />

7. The LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware shall include appropriate prompts to<br />

facilitate ease <strong>of</strong> use for the User.<br />

8. The LRS shall provide the User with feedback and lead the User<br />

through the various LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware functions.<br />

9. The LRS online portion <strong>of</strong> the LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware shall make<br />

use <strong>of</strong> expandable and collapsible items that allow the User to see<br />
