7. The LRS shall include a method for recording and updating<br />
applicant/participant/case member explanations for discrepancies that<br />
have been flagged as high risk.<br />
8. The LRS shall include the ability to produce standard and ad hoc<br />
reports relating to high risk cases. These standard and ad hoc reports<br />
shall be available both on paper and in electronic format (using<br />
COUNTY-specified version <strong>of</strong> the Micros<strong>of</strong>t Office Suite format) for<br />
further sorting. Criteria for sorting and selecting criteria shall include<br />
error prone pr<strong>of</strong>ile type, worker, unit, section, <strong>of</strong>fice, division, bureau,<br />
or department.<br />
9. The LRS shall remove high risk flags if LRS Data changes result in<br />
case and/or a case individual no longer meeting the high risk criteria.<br />
10. The LRS shall store the high risk indicators and flags separate from the<br />
case type indicator or types (e.g., if a case can be both high risk and be<br />
classified earned income as a type, both must be stored and stored<br />
separately).<br />
2.22 HEARINGS:<br />
The LRS shall support the activities associated with the hearings process by<br />
identifying instances where hearing notifications are required, recording the<br />
receipt <strong>of</strong> hearing requests, and implementing hearing determinations and<br />
decisions. Hearings are required, both at COUNTY and State levels, when an<br />
applicant, participant, or caregiver takes issue with a COUNTY action, or<br />
inaction, regarding the applicant’s/participant’s eligibility and benefit amount(s)<br />
for public assistance programs. Additionally, COUNTY conducts hearings that do<br />
not involve the State (COUNTY Hearings), including GAIN formal grievances,<br />
GR noncompliance occurrence hearings, GR homeless hearings, GR Pre-<br />
Termination Hearings, and other COUNTY hearings.<br />
2.22.1 COUNTY Hearings.<br />
1. The LRS shall track and schedule all COUNTY Hearings by type <strong>of</strong><br />
hearing.<br />
2. The LRS shall maintain a database <strong>of</strong> all COUNTY Hearings by type<br />
<strong>of</strong> hearing which includes case name, case number, CIN, hearing date,<br />
status <strong>of</strong> the hearing, resolution, hearing summary and worker<br />
information.<br />
