9. The LRS shall include a method for rescheduling SSIAP<br />
appointments, as needed.<br />
10. The LRS shall take appropriate action when a participant fails to show<br />
up to his SSIAP appointment(s).<br />
11. The LRS shall maintain a list <strong>of</strong> SSA <strong>of</strong>fices and addresses, linked to<br />
areas where participants apply (e.g. within participant’s geographical<br />
area).<br />
12. The LRS shall maintain a history <strong>of</strong> SSI determination results and, for<br />
each set <strong>of</strong> results, the LRS shall specify additional information<br />
required and due dates for the information.<br />
13. The LRS shall support assignment <strong>of</strong> responsibility for obtaining<br />
additional information specified and tracking <strong>of</strong> the information<br />
submission.<br />
14. The LRS shall maintain a history <strong>of</strong> application submissions and<br />
responses.<br />
15. The LRS shall calculate amounts claimable by COUNTY from SSI<br />
lump sum payments.<br />
16. The LRS shall support the preparation <strong>of</strong> claims in order to recover the<br />
portion <strong>of</strong> lump sum payments due to COUNTY and shall issue<br />
payment <strong>of</strong> the residual amount to the participant.<br />
17. The LRS shall update or terminate program-specific cases based on<br />
SSI determinations entered. This shall include retroactive periods as<br />
indicated.<br />
18. The LRS shall identify participants with SSI applications and shall<br />
post the results <strong>of</strong> the application.<br />
19. The LRS shall, upon receipt <strong>of</strong> SSI eligibility, generate notices to<br />
initiate requests for reimbursement.<br />
20. The LRS shall support special operations, including providing an<br />
automated process for Interim Assistance Reimbursement (IAR)<br />
recovery processes.<br />
21. The LRS shall generate, record, and store the receipt and signature <strong>of</strong><br />
the IAR agreement.<br />
22. The LRS shall support the automated recovery <strong>of</strong> assistance when a<br />
participant receives retroactive SSI payments.<br />
23. The LRS shall support active and historical reports on the SSIAP<br />
process, including:<br />
a. The number <strong>of</strong> participants in the SSIAP process; and<br />
b. The number <strong>of</strong> participants at each stage <strong>of</strong> the SSIAP process.<br />
