12. The Central Print Facility and Backup Print Facility shall<br />
automate the metering <strong>of</strong> all prepared mail according to<br />
USPS standards.<br />
13. The LRS shall imprint notices and forms with the appropriate<br />
delivery-point bar code information using USPS-certified<br />
s<strong>of</strong>tware.<br />
14. The Central Print Facility and Backup Print Facility shall<br />
provide for the same day mailing <strong>of</strong> warrants directly from<br />
the Central Print Facility and Backup Print Facility.<br />
3.3.4 Network and Network Security.<br />
The LRS shall deliver the LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware and other services<br />
through browser-based computing devices to COUNTY-specified Users<br />
via secure connections with the LAnet/EN and to Internet Users via<br />
CONTRACTOR-provided secure connections which shall not utilize any<br />
COUNTY network resources (e.g., LAnet/EN). The LRS shall be<br />
connected to the LAnet/EN and its security architecture via a secure and<br />
redundant Gateway provided and managed by CONTRACTOR in<br />
compliance with COUNTY extranet data security policies. This Gateway<br />
can be viewed as a physical entity that translates between these two WAN<br />
segments – CONTRACTOR’s WAN and COUNTY’s WAN (LAnet/EN).<br />
CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for all network and network security<br />
operations from this Gateway, the point <strong>of</strong> entrance to the LAnet/EN, back<br />
to the CONTRACTOR network and LRS processing environments.<br />
Modifications to CONTRACTOR’s LRS technical infrastructure shall not<br />
adversely impact LAnet/EN performance.<br />
The LRS security design shall be fully compatible with the security model<br />
used by COUNTY for the LAnet/EN.<br />
1. The LRS shall include security measures at all points <strong>of</strong> entry into the<br />
LRS.<br />
2. The LRS shall include redundant connections to the LAnet/EN via<br />
private or dedicated circuits provided and managed by<br />
CONTRACTOR and not dependent on a single provider.<br />
