20. The LRS shall allow the Welfare Fraud Investigator to search for<br />

previous fraud referrals, using the suspect’s name, SSN, CA ID<br />

number, case number, referral number, CA driver’s license number,<br />

and referral date or range <strong>of</strong> dates.<br />

21. The LRS shall include the ability to create a fraud referral based on<br />

predefined criteria, as specified by COUNTY.<br />

22. The LRS shall allow a worker to check the status <strong>of</strong> his fraud<br />

referral(s).<br />

23. The LRS shall include a method for initiating an electronic referral to<br />

WFP&I headquarters when positive early fraud findings determine that<br />

a continuing historical investigation should be pursued.<br />

24. The LRS shall include a unique identifier in the fraud referral number<br />

to distinguish between early fraud and historical fraud.<br />

25. The LRS shall include the ability to link historical fraud referrals and<br />

early fraud referrals.<br />

2.15.4 SSI Application Management.<br />

1. The LRS shall, upon approval <strong>of</strong> a program-specific case, determine a<br />

participant’s potential eligibility for SSI based on SSA disability<br />

criteria for SSI.<br />

2. The LRS shall include the ability to notify a COUNTY-contracted<br />

medical/mental health pr<strong>of</strong>essional <strong>of</strong> a new referral for assessment <strong>of</strong><br />

the GR participant’s medical/mental status.<br />

3. The LRS shall record and track the COUNTY-contracted<br />

medical/mental health pr<strong>of</strong>essional to which the referral has been<br />

assigned.<br />

4. The LRS shall allow the COUNTY-contracted medical/mental health<br />

pr<strong>of</strong>essional to update the LRS with the participant’s employability<br />

status information.<br />

5. The LRS shall allow the COUNTY-contracted medical/mental health<br />

pr<strong>of</strong>essional to update the referral with hearing date and resolution<br />

information.<br />

6. The LRS shall allow the SSI Advocate to access referral information,<br />

as necessary.<br />

7. The LRS shall allow COUNTY-specified Users to track an SSI<br />

application from the date it was filed through the reconsideration<br />

and/or hearing processes.<br />

8. The LRS shall schedule and control SSIAP appointments, as required.<br />
