8. The LRS reporting environment database shall be compliant<br />

with industry standards for open database connectivity, such<br />

as ODBC.<br />

9. The LRS shall allow an unlimited number <strong>of</strong> COUNTYspecified<br />

Users to access the reporting database concurrently<br />

without degradation in the daily and normal operation and<br />

performance <strong>of</strong> the LRS.<br />

10. The LRS shall ensure that the generation and printing <strong>of</strong><br />

reports does not interfere with the daily and normal operation<br />

and performance <strong>of</strong> the LRS, as specified by COUNTY.<br />

11. The LRS shall include a strategy for on-going tuning <strong>of</strong> the<br />

reporting environment database after Countywide<br />

Implementation in order to ensure that the production<br />

environment and other processing environments continue to<br />

meet or exceed performance requirements, as specified by<br />

COUNTY.<br />

12. The LRS shall include real-time access to information and<br />

reports shall be available on demand during morning and<br />

afternoon peak production environment usage periods with<br />

response times that meet or exceed COUNTY-specified<br />

requirements.<br />

13. The LRS shall include dedicated network circuits and<br />

processing power (e.g., servers) for the reporting<br />

environment.<br />

14. The LRS shall centrally generate scheduled reports (certain<br />

mandated COUNTY, State, and federal reports) and be<br />

capable <strong>of</strong> distributing the reports online to COUNTYspecified<br />

Users.<br />

15. The LRS shall include the ability for the on-demand<br />

generation <strong>of</strong> all reports specified by COUNTY.<br />

16. The LRS shall include a mechanism for the easy transfer and<br />

placement onto the Internet those reports and statistical LRS<br />

Data that are considered a matter <strong>of</strong> public record.<br />

17. The LRS shall include the ability to develop, execute, save,<br />

and modify queries and reports based on COUNTY-specified<br />

User criteria.<br />

18. The LRS shall allow COUNTY-specified Users to access,<br />

generate, and print reports locally without the need for<br />

outside technical assistance.<br />
