56. The LRS shall include user-friendly online Help and tutorials<br />
for the reporting system that includes the following:<br />
a. Brief description <strong>of</strong> the report;<br />
b. Help in reading the report; and<br />
c. Help in navigating, sorting, and printing.<br />
57. The LRS shall include online training materials in order to<br />
enhance User efficiency and productivity while using the ad<br />
hoc reporting system.<br />
58. The LRS shall include the ability to stop the processing <strong>of</strong> a<br />
query search at any point in the process.<br />
59. The LRS shall include a mechanism to track User requests<br />
for reports.<br />
3.5 SERVICE INTERFACE AND INTEGRATION:<br />
Service Interface and Integration refers to the collection <strong>of</strong> technologies,<br />
methodologies, standards, and specifications that govern how information is<br />
securely communicated, transported, and exchanged both internally within the<br />
LRS and externally by the LRS. The LRS shall interface to other systems as well<br />
as share services with additional COUNTY applications and services.<br />
1. The LRS shall provide LRS Data extracts to the requestor via secure FTP<br />
or other media, as requested by COUNTY (e.g. data files, DLT, CD-<br />
ROM, DVD).<br />
2. The LRS shall interface and download/upload LRS Data securely using<br />
standard file formats.<br />
3. The LRS shall include the appropriate middleware tools/components for<br />
integrating with other systems.<br />
4. The LRS shall include the appropriate APIs necessary for integrating<br />
third-party tools.<br />
3.5.1 Document Management <strong>Services</strong>:<br />
The use <strong>of</strong> electronic document management services is intended to reduce<br />
user errors, minimize paperwork, lower printing and document storage<br />
costs, and provide more efficient and less duplicative efforts in serving<br />
applicants and participants. Document management services shall be<br />
integrated into the design <strong>of</strong> the LRS.<br />
