3. The LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware and LRS Data shall be available for<br />
Production Use at the backup sites (Backup Central Site, Backup Print<br />
Facility) in the event <strong>of</strong> a disaster.<br />
4. The Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plan shall be fully tested<br />
semi-annually.<br />
a. Tests shall be coordinated from the Project Office;<br />
b. Tests shall be conducted on the Backup Central Site server(s) and<br />
the Backup Print Facility server(s); and<br />
c. Tests shall also include the testing <strong>of</strong> the daily, weekly, monthly,<br />
and quarterly LRS Data backup processes.<br />
5. The Backup Central Site and Backup Print Facility shall be<br />
implemented and tested prior to the commencement date <strong>of</strong><br />
Countywide implementation that includes the following:<br />
a. Providing daily backups <strong>of</strong> the LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware that will<br />
be stored at the backup site;<br />
b. Retaining at least two generations (i.e., two days) <strong>of</strong> daily backups<br />
<strong>of</strong> the LRS Application S<strong>of</strong>tware;<br />
d. Providing continuous configuration management for the backup<br />
site to ensure it mirrors the production environment facility;<br />
e. Providing a backup site that adheres to LRS performance<br />
requirements; and<br />
f. Interfacing with other systems to ensure the accuracy and<br />
timeliness <strong>of</strong> LRS Data.<br />
6. The LRS backup processes shall be automated.<br />
7. The LRS shall utilize backup and recovery solutions that provide<br />
security against unauthorized access.<br />
8. The LRS shall be capable <strong>of</strong> performing continuous data protection<br />
(CDP) backups <strong>of</strong> the LRS production environment database.<br />
9. The LRS shall include the ability to be restored to a state that reflects<br />
the state <strong>of</strong> all LRS files as <strong>of</strong> the last fully processed transaction.<br />
10. The LRS shall ensure, once the LRS becomes available again, that it<br />
shall be necessary for COUNTY-specified Users to re-enter only the<br />
transactions that were in process at the time LRS availability was lost.<br />
11. The LRS shall include the ability for broadcast notification to<br />
COUNTY-specified Users that the LRS is once again operational.<br />
Such notification may be automatically or manually initiated. The<br />
notification process shall take advantage <strong>of</strong> a variety <strong>of</strong><br />
