On 4 June 2007, police officers came to Gour Haldar’s and told him to appear at the station in two<br />

On 6 June 2007 at 9.00am, Gour Haldar went to the station, where he was arrested.<br />

On 7 June 2007, the police sent Gour Haldar to the Alipur Court, charged u/s 302 IPC.<br />

On 11 March 2007 in the evening, some CPI(M) supporters were returning by bus from their<br />

party meeting at Bridged Parade Ground, Kolkata. Some people suddenly stopped the bus and<br />

threw garbage onto the people inside the bus. Some of the passengers received injuries to their<br />

eyes.<br />

Harendra Nath Majhi was not involved in the incident, but some people from Ajodhya village filed<br />

a complaint (Case 12/07, dated 11.<strong>03</strong>.07) against him at Jangipara PS u/s 341/325/427/506 IPC<br />

(wrongful restraint of a person, voluntarily causing grievous hurt to extort property or to constrain<br />

to an illegal act, criminal intimidation).
