On 13 September 2007, Sweety Shaw fled from Hanumanmal Tatar’s house and reached<br />

Rakesh Shaw’s house by plane.<br />

At around 8.00pm, Sweety Shaw went to the Golabari PS to register a complaint against<br />

Hanumanmal Tatar for separating her from Rakesh Shaw. She was given a General Diary<br />

Entry (No. 1016).<br />

This news reached Sweety Shaw’s maternal uncle, who went to the police station with a few<br />

others and threatened Sweety and Rakesh Shaw. The police kept the couple at the station for<br />

three hours for no reason.<br />

On 14 September 2007, Hanumanmal Tatar reached Rakesh Shaw’s house, where he threatened<br />

Rakesh Shaw’s family.<br />

After fifteen days, Hanumanmal Tatar returned to Mumbai.<br />

On 2 November 2007, Mumbai Police came to Sweety Shaw’s house with a warrant in her<br />

name. Hanumanmal Tatar had falsely alleged that Sweety Shaw fled to Kolkata after stealing Rs.<br />

8,000 and four wrist bands. The Mumbai Police forcibly took Sweety Shaw to the Golabari PS,<br />

where she became ill.<br />

Sweety Shaw was taken to the hospital. The Mumbai Police took all the documents issued by<br />

the hospital.<br />

Now Sweety Shaw has to appear at Mumbai Court whenever summoned. However, she lives<br />

in Kolkata and she faces many financial problems in commuting to Mumbai.<br />
