VAMPIRE TEMPLATE QUICK REFERENCE<br />

This sidebar summarizes the changes that apply to vampire characters. Use it in conjunction<br />

with the summary of character creation on p. 28 of the Mind’s <strong>Eye</strong> <strong><strong>The</strong>atre</strong><br />

rulebook.<br />

CLAN<br />

Choose a clan to which your character belongs. <strong>The</strong>re are fi ve clans from which to<br />

select.<br />

Daeva: Emotional, sensual and desirable.<br />

Gangrel: Primal, hardy and savage.<br />

Mekhet: Quick, discreet and wise.<br />

Nosferatu: Stealthy, strong and terrifying.<br />

Ventrue: Regal, commanding and aristocratic.<br />

COVENANT<br />

Choose a covenant in which your character claims membership. <strong>The</strong>re are fi ve covenants<br />

from which to select. If you wish to choose no covenant, record “unbound,” “unaligned”<br />

or “independent” on your character sheet.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Carthians seek to reconcile Kindred society with modern governmental structures<br />

and social systems.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Circle of the Crone venerates a variety of female fi gures as an amalgamated creator<br />

of vampires, the Mother of all Monsters.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Invictus is the aristocracy of the night.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Lancea Sanctum seeks to infl uence Kindred society with the strictures of Longinus,<br />

who is believe to have been turned into one of the Damned by the very blood of Christ.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Ordo Dracul commands rituals and mystical knowledge that allows the Kindred<br />

to transcend their vampiric states.<br />

FAVORED ATTRIBUTES<br />

Based on your choice of clan, select one of the clan’s two favored Attributes and give<br />

your character an additional dot in that trait.<br />

Daeva Dexterity or Manipulation<br />

Gangrel Composure or Stamina<br />

Mekhet Intelligence or Wits<br />

Nosferatu Composure or Strength<br />

Ventrue Presence or Resolve<br />

DISCIPLINES<br />

Choose three dots of Disciplines, at least two dots of which must come from the clan’s<br />

favored powers.<br />

Animalism: Power over animals and even the Beast of Kindred.<br />

Auspex: Preternatural senses and perception.<br />

Celerity: Superhuman speed.<br />
