SECTION 221519 - GENERAL-SERVICE PACKAGED AIR COMPRESSORS AND RECEIVERS
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.1 RELATED DOCUMENTS
A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary
Conditions and Division 01 Specification Sections, apply to this Section.
1.2 SUMMARY
A. Section Includes:
1. Oil-flooded, rotary-screw air compressors.
2. Inlet-air filters.
3. Air-cooled, compressed-air after coolers.
4. Desiccant compressed-air dryers.
5. Air Receiver Tanks.
6. Computer interface cabinet.
1.3 SUBMITTALS
A. Submittals shall be in accordance with Section 013300, Submittals.
B. Product Data: For each type of product indicated. Include rated capacities, operating
characteristics, electrical characteristics, and furnished specialties and accessories.
1. Complete performance data shall accompany proposal and shall include capacity in
ACFM at the compressor inlet and at delivery pressure of 120 PSIG and at maximum
pressure capability, brake horsepower at full load conditions, rotor speed, cooling air
flow, and all other pertinent data.
2. Completed Data Sheets in accordance with ISA20.
3. Dimensioned Outline Drawings of Equipment Unit: Identify center of gravity and locate
and describe mounting and anchorage provisions.
4. Wiring Diagrams: For power, signal, and control wiring.
5. Completed MSDSs for all lubricants and chemicals.
C. Seismic Qualification Certificates: For compressed-air equipment, accessories, and
components, from manufacturers.
1. Basis for Certification: Indicate whether withstand certification is based on actual test of
assembled components or on calculation.
2. Detailed description of equipment anchorage devices on which the certification is based
and their installation requirements.
