B. Equipment DescriptionThis Section includes piping and related specialties for low pressure air
purge systems operating at 10 psig or less.
C. Buyer-Furnished Material:
1. Interface equipment for the STS Container and cask fill and vent ports.
1.3 SUBMITTALS
A. Submittals shall be in accordance with Section 013300, Submittals.
B. Product Data: For each type of product indicated:
1. Pipes, tubes, and fittings.
2. Structural materials.
3. Stainless-steel braided PTFE hose (1” and smaller).
4. Elastomeric flexible hose (larger than 1”).
5. Ball valves.
6. Butterfly valves.
7. Vacuum breakers.
8. Quick couplings.
9. Pressure transmitters.
10. Welding materials.
11. Fasteners.
12. Joining materials.
C. Fabrication Drawings: Piping Isometrics, Plans and Elevations.
D. Piping Material Certification: Signed by Seller certifying that piping materials comply with
ASME B31.3 requirements.
E. Certificates of Shop Inspection and Data Report for piping: As required by ASME B31.3 and that
the piping has been designed, manufactured and constructed in accordance with the Seller’s QA
plan.
