2.6 BUTTERFLY VALVES
A. 200 CWP, Stainless-steel, Butterfly Valves with EPDM Seat and stainless-steel disc:
1. Description:
a. Standard: MSS SP-68.
b. CWP Rating: 200 psig.
c. Body Design: Lug type; Class 150; suitable for bidirectional dead-end service at
rated pressure without use of downstream flange.
d. Body Material: ASTM A 351-CF8M stainless steel.
e. Seat: EPDM.
f. Stem: One- or two-piece stainless steel.
g. Disc: ASTM A 351-CF8M stainless steel.
B. Basis-of-Design Product: Subject to compliance with requirements contained in Section 012513,
Product Substitution Procedures, provide the product indicated on Drawings or a comparable
product, approved by the Buyer, by one of the following:
1. Bray Controls,
2. Tyco Flow Control, Keystone.
