D. Zone Setpoint Adjust:
1. The occupant shall be able to adjust the zone temperature heating and cooling setpoints at
the zone sensor.
E. Supply Air Smoke Detection:
1. The unit shall shut down and generate an alarm upon receiving a supply air smoke
detector status.
F. Fire Alarm Signal:
1. The unit shall shut down and generate an alarm upon receiving a signal from the fire
alarm control panel. The fire alarm signal shall override all other signals and shut down
the unit.
G. Supply Fan:
1. The supply fan shall run anytime the unit is commanded to run, unless shutdown on
safeties.
2. Alarms shall be provided as follows:
a. Supply Fan Failure: Commanded on, but the status is off.
b. Supply Fan in Hand: Commanded off, but the status is on.
c. Supply Fan Runtime Exceeded: Status runtime exceeds a user definable limit
(adj.).
d. Supply Fan VFD fault
H. Cooling Coil Valve:
1. The controller shall measure the zone temperature and modulate the cooling coil valve to
maintain its cooling setpoint.
2. The cooling shall be enabled whenever:
a. Outside air temperature is greater than 55°F (adj.).
b. AND the zone temperature is above cooling setpoint.
c. AND the supply fan status is on.
d. AND the heating is not active.
I. Heating Coil Valve (the same valve as the cooling coil valve):
1. The controller shall measure the zone temperature and modulate the heating coil valve to
maintain its heating setpoint.
2. The heating shall be enabled whenever:
a. Outside air temperature is less than 50°F (adj.).
b. AND the zone temperature is below heating setpoint.
c. AND the supply fan status is on.
d. AND the cooling is not active.
J. Mixed Air Dampers:
1. The mixed air dampers shall open to provide minimum outside air ventilation anytime the
unit is occupied. The mixed air dampers shall close 5 sec (adj.) after the supply fan stops,
the outside air bypass damper shall open if either ECRT-EF-501 or ECRT-EF-502 are
operating.
2. If Optimal Start Up is available, the outside air damper shall close and the return air
damper shall open.
3. Minimum Outside Air Ventilation - Fixed Percentage:
The outside air dampers shall maintain a minimum position (adj.).
