2.5 PRESSURE CONTROL VALVES
A. Pressure Control Valves:
1. Body: ASTM A351 Grade CF8M stainless steel and stainless steel trim;
2. Spring-loaded, diaphragm-operated, relieving type, composition diaphragm and seat material.
3. Manual pressure-setting adjustment.
4. Pressure rated for 150-psig minimum inlet pressure; and capable of controlling delivered
fluid pressure within 0.5 psig for each 10-psig inlet pressure.
5. Ends: FNPT.
B. Basis-of-Design Product: Subject to compliance with requirements contained in Section
012513, Product Substitution Procedures, provide the product indicated on Drawings or a
comparable product, approved by the Buyer, by one of the following:
1. Cashco, Inc.
2. Fisher Control, Inc.
2.6 PRESSURE GAUGES
A. Direct-Mounting, Dial-Type Pressure Gauges: Indicating-dial type complying with
ASME B40.100.
1. Case: Field Liquid-fillable type, Type 304 Stainless steel, 4-inch diameter.
2. Pressure-Element Assembly: Bourdon tube, unless otherwise indicated.
3. Pressure Connection: Stainless steel, NPS 1/4, bottom-outlet type unless back-outlet type
is indicated.
4. Movement: Mechanical, with link to pressure element and connection to pointer.
5. Dial: Satin-faced, nonreflective aluminum with permanently etched scale markings.
6. Pointer: Black metal.
7. Window: Laminated safety Glass.
8. Ring: Stainless steel.
9. Accuracy: Grade 1A, plus or minus 1 percent of middle half scale.
10. Pressure Range: 0 psig to 160 psig of pressure.
B. Pressure-Gauge Fittings:
1. Valves: NPS 1/4 stainless-steel needle type.
