A. Boiler System Run Conditions:
1. The boiler system shall be enabled to run whenever:
a. The heating water supply temperature is less than 115°F
b. A definable number of zone temperatures are below the heating setpoint.
c. AND outside air temperature is less than 40°F (adj.).
2. To prevent short cycling, the boiler system shall run for and be off for minimum
adjustable times (both user definable), unless shutdown on safeties or outside air
conditions.
3. The boiler shall run subject to its own internal safeties and controls.
B. Boiler Safeties:
1. The following safeties shall be monitored:
a. Boiler alarm.
b. Low Water Level.
C. Alarms shall be provided as follows:
1. Boiler alarm.
2. Low Water Level alarm.
D. Circulation Pump (ECRT-P-503):
1. The circulation pump shall run anytime the boiler is called to run and shall have a user
definable (adj.) delay on stop.
