2.11 FLOW ORIFICES (ECRT-FO-601 and ECRT-FO-602)
A. Flow Orifices: One piece construction of solid metal, ½” MNPT x ½” FNPT with machined
orifice. Type 304 Stainless steel. Design basis, O’keefe Controls Type H adapter.
B. Orifice Size:
1. ECRT-FO-601; 0.125” diameter orifice.
2. ECRT-FO-602; 0.037” diameter orifice.
C. Basis-of-Design Product: Subject to compliance with requirements contained in Section 012513,
Product Substitution Procedures, provide the product indicated on Drawings or a comparable
product, approved by the Buyer, by one of the following:
1. O’Keefe Controls Co.
2. Swagelok industries, Inc.
2.12 QUICK COUPLINGS
A. General Requirements for Quick Couplings: Assembly with locking-mechanism feature for quick
connection and disconnection of compressed-air hose.
B. Automatic-Shutoff Quick Couplings: Straight-through brass body with O-ring or gasket seal and
stainless-steel or nickel-plated-steel operating parts.
1. Body (Socket) End: With O-ring or gasket seal, without valve, and with tube
compression fitting inlet for attaching hose or with integral hose.
2. Stem (Plug) End: With tube compression fitting for attaching hose or integral with hose.
3. Seal: Fluorocarbon FKM
C. Valve-less Quick Couplings: Straight-through brass body with stainless-steel or nickel-platedsteel
operating parts.
1. Socket End: With O-ring or gasket seal, without valve, and with barbed inlet for
attaching hose.
2. Plug End: With barbed outlet for attaching hose.
3. Seal: Fluorocarbon FKM
D. Cam and Groove Quick Couplings: Straight-through stainless steel body with stainless-steel or
nickel-plated-steel operating parts.
