9, continuous classical music, then finally 1256 UT a string of ann incl.
mentions of Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi, orchestral music at
1300 UT. Abruptly disappeared for a few mins. around 1340 UT, have checked
for this on recent days between 1100-1300 and heard nothing, not even a
carrier, so uncertain if it is irregular or just extremely dependent on
propagation. Good at peak: S=9+10dB.

6104.68 Candela FM, Merida, (pres) at 1000-1010 UT. Noted a strong
carrier on this freq prior to the hour. On the hour, the broadcast begins
with music for a minute or two, then comments by a male. As it turns out,
the signal is very distorted and almost impossible to copy. I was able to
pick out some details such as the place name, "Mexico" during comments and
promos. Strong carrier but distorted audio. I think Candela dropped off
the air by 1010 UT possibly because of this distortion mentioned above
because I couldn't hear anything but the carrier by then. However,
checking back at 1020 UT, the only signal I could hear on this freq was
the Brazilian, which was much weaker.

MYANMAR 5770 Myanmar Defense Forces BS via Taunggyi, 1418-1431*, Oct
14, new sign-off time (earlier this month had observed their usual 1530
sign-off, within a minute or two), in vernacular, pop songs, brief
selection of indigenous instrumental music at sign-off, weak bur clear.
5770 Myanmar Defense Forces BS via Taunggyi, it seems my Oct 14 reception
of sign-off at 1431 was just a one day event and not a permanent change to
their schedule. Heard at 1431 on Oct 16 with the usual BoH indigenous
marching music and playing pop songs, heard the usual 1529* after a brief
selection of indigenous music. This can be heard here just about every day
with poor to fair reception. Oct 17 noted past 1440 with fair reception,
playing pop songs.

stop equations, QRM/adjacent splatter.
