A further scan around Australia reveals (re SW):
1. Alice Springs masts nearby (ALICE SPRINGS)
2. View of the SW dipole antenna at the old VLW Perth - Hamersley site
(PERTH) North east corner of site.
3. Maybe two old SW masts (no antennas) at old SW VLI Liverpool - Prestons
site. I may have to check with someone about this. (SYDNEY)
4. No SW antennas/masts seen at all from old VLQ Bald Hills
site.(BRISBANE).
5. I note a vertical mast at location of Radio Symban.(PEATS RIDGE)
Members with access to Google Earth may prefer to use this application to
view these images in preference to Google Maps. I found it quicker &
easier to use than Google Maps.

Google Maps - Street View now available for Radio Australia - Shepparton.
Hi folks, A huge amount of Australia (except Darwin region & Cape York) is
now covered my Google Maps - Street View FEATURE. This was activated
today.
Of interest to our group is the Radio Australia - Shepparton site, which
can now be seen on the right side (heading north) at around 498 Verney Rd,
Shepparton, Victoria.
Obviously there's other sites of interest, I'll look for those when more
time allows.
More SW sites with Google Street View. I'm talking about the 'Street View'
facility on Google Earth & Google Maps. Available on latest Google Earth &
can be seen & used with:
Hit 'Street View' tab. Drag orange coloured man to road.
Try to find 104 Peats Ridge Road.
The exact coordinates are: 33 22 29.18 S 151 13 34.67 E
Street View is only available in select areas of: USA, France & Australia
at the present time I believe. Use the info I have provided you in my
emails.
My apologies for the Radio Symban location. Try 104 Peats Ridge Road.
Look to the east (left travelling north) with Street View to find above
site, its near the water tank.
The Radio Australia site is low resolution on all maps, but site clearly
seen with Street View. I hope this helps.
