UNID Noted on 10, 11 and 12 May on 6110 kHz starting at 0400 with prgr
in Portuguese and many songs in En, adv-s at 0430 and speaking in the
still of Brasilian stations. Strong interference with Radio Fana ( //
7210) and some Chinese speaking station fadein around 0420.
Another unidentified for me is a station in Farsi or Tajik from 1700 on
7240 kHz but with splashes from Tajikistan in En on 7245 and Vatican on
7250 kHz. On 7240 kHz also UNID strong slow instrumental mx. The UNID
station often mentioned "Arabistan Saudi" and seldomly "Jumhuri
Tajikistan" and "Tiurkie", at 1715 and at 1725 said "Bisma Rahmani Rahim.
. . i bereketu. . . " in Ar, sermon from 1728. Maybe Iran or Saudi Arabia?

UAE 13685 IRIN radio Somalia feedback.
Thanks Dan. But still not good in Somalia, on an ordinary kind of radio,
so we are now switching the transmitter to Dubai/UAE 250 kW, 0830-0845 UT,
13685 kHz 21 metre band.

Louise: I didn't get back to you after I got the email because I had to go
out of town on business. I'm back now, and wanted to get back to you to
thank you for the response. Incidentally, I did hear your transmission on
your new frequency of 7290 kHz today (12 May 2008), and it was GREAT! No
interference, and much easier to hear than the initial frequencies that
you used.
I am attaching a .mp3 file which you might find interesting. It was the
first 40 seconds of your transmission today. I also am including details
of my reception of your transmission today for your interest.
