CHILE/UK A terrible mess noted in 16-17 UT slot on 15410 today. One of
the stations settled 40 Hertz down on 15409.96 kHz, probably CVI Santiago
in Portuguese, co-channel VoA Persian Farda program from Woofferton
underneath.

COSTA RICA 5954 is testing with a 40 kW ELCOR transmitter from Guapiles,
Canton de Pococi, as I got word from Jorge Cuadra, a former Elcor
engineer, who helped install it as a free lancer. Still unknown
organization I hope to discover soon.
[Later:] 5954 is on the air at this very moment, at 2303 UT on Jan 25,
playing like every day lots of Mexican group Mana and Shakira songs. Still
a mystery if they are religious, which I doubt; otherwise they wouldn't
play such music, or could be from a political organization, but I have no
clues by now. BTW, Guapiles, Canton de Pococi is in the Eastern Province
of Limon.

finding determined it might be CeAm. Is it really CTR?

Finally we have a chance to look at a photo with antenna towers of Zadar
MW station, which is relaying GLAS HRVATSKE (Voice of Croatia) to Europe
at 1300-0530.
