TAJIKISTAN Voice of Tajik, English service heard opening at 1700 April
14 with identification and news on 7245, news summary again at 1730, rest
of broadcast seemed to be music. Fair signal on clear channel but adjacent
channel interference from 7240 and 7250 kHz.

U.K. "For the VoA/IBB/RFE and RL services we run from Woofferton, they
come from Washington (RFE/RL arrives by satellite in Washington after
being uplinked from Prague where the studios are situated) via Intelsat
605 over the Atlantic."
Intelsat 605 has meanwhile been moved to an inclined orbit at 174 E (if
not transferred into a graveyard orbit by now) and replaced by Intelsat
907:
"The Voice of Vietnam is received at Wofferton by satellite after being
uplinked from Israel. The link to Israel is in Thailand and then they get
it directly fron Hanoi. We send the audio directly to Skelton by fibre for
UK output and also to Moosbrunn, Austria and Sackville, Canada for them to
transmit on HF."
So it was not Bush House but instead Woofferton who forwarded the wrong
audio from this RRSat mux on Hotbird (TV audio of IBA Channel 33, no
longer on air there) to Moosbrunn for weeks?

I'm just working on an update now because high-res pictures are now
available for the whole of Wales, meaning I can update the map with
accurate positions for a lot of the Welsh sites. I hope to have the latest
version on the google community site this afternoon, so I'd welcome anyone
taking a look and letting me know of any sites that I've missed or that
