I was surprised to find what appeared to be Nouakchott on air as early as
0730 UT via 7245 also on the 28th. The signal was good, but with some
splash from the Vatican on 7250. A man was reading what appeared to be
news items, but in a unknown (to me) language, and using string
instrumental music as links from one item to the next.

MEXICO 4800 XERTA, Radio Transcontinental de America, Mexico D.F.,
0553-0815, 02-11, locutora, comentario "El poder del Espiritu Santo",
programa "Voces de Esperanza", canciones religiosas. Identificacion por
locutora a las 0810: "Estan escuchando Radio Transcontinental de America,
transmitiendo desde Mexico D. F. por onda corta, 4800 kHz, banda de 60
metros, gracias por su sintonia". Buena senal hoy. 25332.
Radio Mil, Mexico D.F., 0602-0910, 02-11, Excelente senal a las 0602,
luego se fue deteriorando un poco, pero bien audible durante toda la
escucha. A las 0602 larga cancion identificativa: "N.R.M. comunicaciones
con emocion" "Radio Mil, 50.000 watts de potencia", "En Radio Mil vive
Mexico, vive Mexico en Radio Mil", canciones mexicanas, canciones de Rocio
Durcal, "En Radio Mil vive la musica de Mexico". A las 0728 se nota una
ligera interferencia de LVTC, esporadica y muy debil. 34333 variando a
24322.

TWR Europe - TWR Ukrainian changed the schedule Oct 23th to new 621, and
Oct 28th replaced 621 by 1413 kHz 500 kW directional at 80 degrees towards
Volgograd direction. Changed from 1630-1700? UT daily in Ukrainian 621 kHz
150 kW non-dir to 1413 kHz entry today Oct 28th 1730-1800 UT daily
Ukrainian 1413 kHz.
