ETHIOPIA 6110 Radio Fana, 0310-0328 Jan 29, man announcer with Amharic
talks hosting program of Horn of Africa vocals. No ID heard but familiar
program. Fair with clear signal until Tirana opened at 0328 UT.
7110 Radio Ethiopia, 2056-2100* Jan 27, talk by a man and woman
announcers in Amharic language prior to ID and closedown announcements
which was followed by orchestra National Anthem. Fair to good signal. Next
day, Jan 28, noted with very good signal at 2020 with Horn of Africa music
// 5990 which was fair.

EQUATORIAL GUINEA 6250 Radio Nacional _ Malabo, at 0525-0546 UT on Jan
28, tune in to a man announcer talking in Spanish with many references to
Malabo. Highlife vocals selection followed by the man announcer with ID as
"Radio Malabo, buenas dias" as he started a conversation with another man.
More highlife vocals and another "Radio Malabo" ID at 0540 UT. Weak but
clear reception.

GEORGIA [ABKHAZIA] 9494.6 Apsua Radio, heard weakly here from 0415 UT
with talk and some choral chanting to 0430 on Jan 26, with man and woman
ID in Russian at 0430-clearly as "Apsua Radio" from both the man and woman
announcers. First time in years that I have heard this channel as clear
for at least 20 minutes. Better grab it during the winter. Much obliged to
Rumen Pankov for the tip on this one. Nothing heard on // 9535 kHz here-
channel covered.
