AND NEVER MENTIONING THE SW FREQUENCIES in this press release. Notice how
they go out of their way to denigrate the very medium they are forced to
depend on, as "a step backward to an outmoded frequency"
I'll have a look to 9825 RL Turkmen / 9830 RL Armenien [ // latter 11695]
at 1500-1600 UT, both from Biblis on similar target. Very Strange !
RL Turkmen on 9825, and n e w RL Armenian on 9830 to similar target at
very same time 1500-1600 UT ??? Adjacent channel usage, both countries are
only 500 miles apart.
9825 noted another program on co-channel too: most likely R. MIRAYA FM
1500-1800 Arabic/English 150kW 140degr Rimavska Sobota SVK IRRS UNMISS in
B07.
9830 suffered by co-channel CNR-1 program 0850-1735 UT in Chinese 100kW
175deg from Beijing.
There aren't many clear frequencies on 9 MHz in our local afternoon, but
even so, RL on 9825 and 9830 at the same time to the same area does seem a
very strange choice!
AUSTRALIA/JAPAN 11650, 13725, 11995, and 13725 kHz at 1430-1530 UT is
no-signal.
JCIC is an enforcement group of Furusato no Kaze on 9780 kHz at 1600-1630
UT UT and Wind of Nippon / Ilubon-e Baaram on 9820 kHz at 1700-1730 UT.
Additional JCI broadcasts via Darwin now ???
In Google search
I received "Furusato no Kaze" at 1430-1500 UT on March 12 on 11995 kHz in
Japanese, and "Ilbon-e Baram" at 1502-1530 UT on 13725 kHz in Korean. Both
were added to the Taiwan transmission, and it was broadcasted the twice on
day.
13725 noted here in EUR with S=9+10dB signal at 1520-1529 UT. (wb, Feb 13)
Seems to me this is a first for CVC Darwin, getting into the clandestine
time-brokering biz (gh, dxld Mar 12)
HCJB Australia has a new antenna from Croatia, which will be erected this
year at Kununurra. Additionally, engineers at HCJB Elkhart technology
Centre have just completed designing three bother [sic: brother? other?]
antennas, which enables submission of plans to the local shire for
building licenses. Apparently, $15,000 per week is required to continue
with the fitting out of the transmitter building, construction of antenna
systems, transmission lines, fencing, road works and farming. Operating
expenses overall are approximately $25,000 per month.
