JAPAN 5006 JG2XA Tokyo at 1322 UT on Mar 12. CW ID's with "JG2XA" and
other Morse text struggling, unsuccessfully, to rise above the noise
level.

KOREA D.P.R. According to Asahi Simbun; Japanese Ministry of Internal
Affairs and Communication announced that radio signal radiated from North
Korea jammed the 8 MHz band aviation shortwave frequency of New Tokyo
International Airport (Narita Airport) at 0811-1157 UT on March 15. The
radio signal was confirmed from North Korea, and consisted of music and
human voices. There was no influence on aviation control of the day. The
Ministry reported this fact to ITU as the violation of international radio
regulations.
Asian Broadcasting Institute observed the 2nd harmonic of clandestine
"South Korean National Democratic Front Pyongyang Branch" (4450 kHz from
Pyongyang) on 8900 kHz. It is presumed this 2nd harmonic interfered the
aviation frequency 8897 kHz.
