El ingeniero Luis Alfredo Palacios, asesor del circuito RNV, explico la
importancia de esta infraestructura que permitira propagar la senal y la
programacion de Radio Nacional de Venezuela en todo el Continente
Americano.
"En este momento, la programacion del Canal Internacional se produce en
los estudios de RNV y se transmite desde la estacion de onda corta de la
Republica de Cuba por un convenio suscrito entre ambos paises", informo
Palacios.
Asimismo, destaco que el objetivo de este proyecto es construir una
estacion de onda corta propia "para que en un futuro cercano, estimamos
que sera un tiempo maximo de 18 meses, podamos comenzar a realizar las
transmisiones internacionales desde este centro".
Palacios tambien recalco que el proyecto de esta estacion de onda corta
consta de dos fases. La primera se espera que concluya en los proximos 18
meses y abarque unicamente el hemisferio norte y la segunda tiene una
duracion de un ano adicional con la que se lograra retransmitir la
programacion de Radio Nacional de Venezuela en toda Latinoamerica.
Para finalizar, el ingeniero Luis Alfredo Palacios manifesto que el estado
Guarico es un lugar estrategico para la instalacion de las antenas
transmisoras por el puesto que ocupa geograficamente en el centro del
pais, lo que significa que existira una excelente cobertura y propagacion
de la senal del circuito RNV hacia cualquier pais del Continente
Americano.

The Hiring commission of Venezuela's Ministry of Communication and
Information (Minci) and the commission of Radio Nacional de Venezuela
(RNV), yesterday met representatives of companies bidding for work in the
construction of the new shortwave station for RNV, located in Calabozo,
Guarico state.
Engineer Luis Alfredo Palacios, an adviser to RNV, said the station will
propagate programming of RNV throughout the American Continent. "At this
time, the International Channel's programming is produced in the RNV's
studios and transmitted from a shortwave station in the Republic of Cuba
by an agreement signed between the two countries," said Palacios. He also
stressed that the goal of this project is to build a shortwave station in
Venezuela "so that in the near future, we believe that time will be a
maximum of 18 months, we can begin to make international broadcasts from
this centre."
Palacios also stressed that the project of this shortwave station consists
of two phases. The first is expected to be completed in the next 18 months
and to cover only the northern hemisphere, and the second would last an
additional year, with which will be achieved the broadcasting of RNV
throughout Latin America.
Finally, engineer Luis Alfredo Palacios said that Guarico state is a
strategic location for the installation of the antennas because of the
place it geographically occupies, at the heart of the country, meaning
that there will be an excellent coverage and spreading of the signal of
the RNV circuit towards any country in the Americas.
