BELARUS Re from Sei-ichi Hasegawa, UnID received on 7180 kHz at 1600-
1800 UT in Russian or Belarusian.

I didn't hear any ID throughout the recording, but I did hear Belarus
mentioned. When spoken so quickly I find the two languages very difficult
to ID. However, I notice this station registered for 7180 ...
7180 1600-1800 Minsk 250 kW 75 deg daily
So it could very well be Radio Minsk. I notice in the WRTH 2008 that a
Belarussian service to Russia was on air at 1600-1800 in B-07, but using
7255. So 7180 could be the replacement in B-08.
And while mentioning Minsk, their morning service to Russia in Belarussian
has changed from 11930 down to 7170 at 0500(?)-0800, and was heard 29th
Oct. in // with local stations on 6115, 7235, 7110 and 6010. Others were
blocked by QRM.
(Noel R. Green-UK, dxld Oct 29)
Even Belarus R on 6080 kHz booms now to 2205 UT, due of low DWL level from
UAE Al Dhabbaya site next door 6075. Strong also on new 7135 kHz at 1800-
2400 UT. Minsk outlets of 7360 and 7390 kHz at 1200-2400 UT produce a
distorted spurious signal on the upper sie on 7420 kHz, at least in past
two winter seasons.
